If you’ve been having difficulty with anything, and I do mean anything, then you need to look at your willinginess to surrender. That’s all there is to it. If there is anytihg that we are having difficulty with, it’s because we are involved in it, if we are involved in anything, then our ego is too. This means that our egos are running the show, or at least trying to and going against God’s will for us in all of our activities. If you’re having any difficulty in anything that you are trying to do then try surrender and try giving what ever it is that you are trying do or get, over to God and surrender to His will.

If you don’t have the faith, that God is everything, and without Him you have nothing (this is what the steps and the Bog Book teaches us) then you wil continue to hold on to your way, your thinking, and your ego, and you won’t get this. You will go back to you drama and chaos and live a life of futility and misery - ultimately getting dunk or blowing your brains out. This is not the fate that God wants for His child, He wants you to live, be happy, joyous and free, and experience all that He has made for you in this life.

So if you feel stress, suffering, misery, frustration, terror, bewildermeant or dispair - don’t try to solve the problem, don’t try to overcome your fears, the problem cannot be fixed by you or anyone else, this is a spiritual dilemma and can only be aided by a power that you will find only in God. This power and a building relationship through God can only be had through continuous surrender.

Continuous surrender, everyday, becoming aware of the path and the design of life that God wants for you is the way to a happy and fulfilling life for you. Reading about it won’t do this for you. Listening the even the greatest speakers in the world cannot do this for you either. The only way you can have this serenity and the peace of mind that will set you free is through an active experience with your Creator. Through a little by slowly development of your relationship with God as you understand Him, can you start to envelope everything that he is within you, and the more you surrender, the more His power flows through your heart.

His power can be recognized as Love, Compassion, and Forgiveness. When these elements of Giod shine through from your heart, then you know that you have seen God.

The more you surrender to His will, the more His grace falls upon you and your life becomes a heaven on earth and God flows through you in everything you do, your shortcoming fall from your mind and your always happy to help others, we get our greatest fulfillment from doing right by others, not enabling them to continue hurting themselves, but doing right, even when right means they need to suffer more.

Surrender means that I’m not thinking with my fear any more, I’m not thinking about you with anger and jealousy anymore, I’m not thinking about you with lust anymore. We are not saints, the point is that we strive for perfection, we strive for Godliness.

“Surrender you will and your life to a power greater that yourself” judging by the mess you have made out of your life, that could very well be an ant. But you are a person who needs the power of an loving Creator in their life to be happy, joyous and free.
