Your Beliefs are Your Cornerstone

Freedom lies just beyond the archway, of which the Cornerstone, (our belief in an all powerful and loving Creator) is the number one element. Without this Cornerstone, without this belief, and our surrender to it, and dependence in it, will will surely fail, and die spiritually. No life, run on self will, can hardly be a success. There’s only two doors to pass through; 1) self-dependency: a life run on self will. or, God-Dependency: a life run on God dependency.

96 Musts in the Big Book

Some say that there are NO MUSTS in AA… actually, if you are working the Program outlined within the AA Text Book; there are 96 Musts. There is no “Aspect” to it. (aspect means portion, perspective, section) We must do this work or we will die, of course , unless, you are NOT an alcoholic of the hopeless variety.

Step One

The very first step of Alcoholics Anonymous is the Amit Complete defeat. To admit that we are powerless over Alcohol and that are lives have become unmanagable.

Although we may be excellent and skilled at something like math, or building houses, but in eccense, job intailing these skill encompass much more than the basic skill on a daily basis. A daily basis for living. It would be foolhardy to assume that just cause I can building a house or swing a hammer, that I could run a construction company.

The Doctors Opinion

All these, and many others, have one symptom in common: they cannot start drinking without developing the phenomenon of craving. This phenomenon, as we have suggested, may be the manifestation of an allergy which differentiates these people, and sets them apart as a distinct entity. It has never been, by any treatment with which we are familiar, permanently eradicated. The only relief we have to suggest is entire abstinence.
