Where are you on the food chain?

Do you rely compleyely on self sufficeincy? Or do you have aworking knowledge of the 12 Steps and have you formed a relationship with a Higher Power that works miricals in your life?

These are some pretty significant questions to ask anyone who is in the rooms, because this is where the results are. I know scores of folks that start doing the work, but then get a job, a relationship, their drivers license, or something else that they think is going to ‘complete them’ but in the end, I’ve seen over and over, over 25 years in the rooms, that it doesn’t and they either come around, and start doing the steps in their life, or they go out and drink.

Taking a look at the real truth for us in our lives isn’t an easy task to start, let alone continue, although its easy to continue than to keep starting again and gain, its much easier to stay on the path and keep growing in this manner.

I feel very badly for those that I’ve worked diligently with for months on end, only to see them go back to old sprees that have been proven to them time and again for not working, not being the fix that they think it is. They are delusional thinkers and this is the lie. They buy the lie and the delusion that this time things will be different and they try it again.

The food chain that i am talking about is basically where are you in this process, the process of creating and nurturing a working and loving relationship with God. This is the only place that we can get power from. And without this relationship, we will think we are God, and our reliance again will be turned to all things human as we start once more to lean on the worldly pocessions of mankind for our inner happiness, which never manifests, as before.

Your work, going through the steps, cleaning house, building a relationship with God, becoming clear ion your world and all that is in you to see all that is around you for the very first time in a new light, is the purpose of doing this work, and the doorway to a new freedom that will set you free. The freedom of the Bondage to Yourself, your ego, your fears, your false beliefs, averything that you’ve known in the past, all of those things that never l;asted, why do you kepp trying them again and again, you don’t know, but you do. Your ego won’t let you get with this stuff, because then it has to hand over the reigns of cammander and cheif to the vessel.

God is pateint, he will let you destroy your life for as long as you wish to remain pigheaded, although he is weeping as you are dying, another soul, another person with a gift, and what about all thise people around you that you’ve hurt through your selfish and self centered behaviors? He weaps for them too, for for knowing you they have become less than they could have been.

But this can change if youare doing the work to get to know yourself, getting to know others and help others without expectation of anything in return, and getting to know God, for God is everything, and we are minutia.
